Welcome to the IPA South Tyrol Motorcycle Club!
We are a community of passionate motorcyclists, united by the values of the International Police Association (IPA). The Bolzano committees motorbike club brings together police colleagues and friends from South Tyrol and beyond. We focus on joint outings, exchange and camaraderie. Join us for varied tours, numerous events and a strong network of like-minded people – whether you are an IPA member or a motorcycle enthusiast.

2 May 2026: Motorcycle meet-up in Tubre:
Our group set off from Bolzano towards the Val Venosta, where we met up with member Merges and his wife. They gave us a warm welcome at their home with a cup of coffee. From Vezzano, we continued on to Tubre. After a quick refreshment stop, we headed for the passo Fuorn. Following the obligatory photos, we carried on to Zernez and Martina, then on to Nauders and Lake Resia. We stopped for a break in Prato allo Stelvio and treated ourselves to a delicious ice cream. We then travelled through the Val Venosta to Nalles in the Val d’Adige, where we had another refreshment. After a warm farewell to everyone involved, everyone headed home satisfied.
1 May 2026: Motorcycle meet-up in Brunico, piazza mercato a Stegona:
The three of us set off from Bolzano: the Deputy Secretary and Coordinator of the delegation, Wolfgang Kaserer; the Secretary of the Bolzano Liaison Office, Kurt Mor; and Karlheinz Kling, a member of the 4th delegation’s motorbike group. Via Chiusa, we drove to Bressanone, where we met up with two colleagues – the delegation’s deputy treasurer, Gregorio Voce, and one of his colleagues. After a short coffee break, we continued on together to Brunico.
Once there, we joined up with three other members of the Val Pusteria Committee and made our way to the piazza mercato Stegona, where there was already a lively atmosphere. At the fairground, we met many familiar faces, chatted and talked shop at length. After a hearty lunch and a look at various motorbikes, we set off on the leisurely journey back towards Bolzano.
On the way, we stopped off briefly in Bressanone. There, we decided to head up via Ponte Gardena to Castelrotto and Fiè allo Scilliar. Taking this route, we eventually made our way back down into the valley to Bolzano, where we said our goodbyes. We immediately arranged to meet up again the following day for another ride together at a motorbike meet-up in Tubre. More details on that tomorrow evening…
22 March 2026: Motorcycle meeting in Egna:
On Sunday, 22 March 2026, the IPA motorcycle group took part in the traditional motorcycle rally with blessing in Egna, which this year was held for the 44th time. Numerous bikers from all over the region took the opportunity to kick off the new motorcycling season together and enjoy the special atmosphere in the historic town centre. Our group also joined with great enthusiasm and came away with many wonderful impressions and encounters with like‑minded motorcycle enthusiasts.
19 July 2025: Motorcycle tour of the Bolzano committee:
The last motorbike tour took us from Palade and Mendola via Caldaro to Ora and on to Pietralba. From there, we travelled via Nova Ponente and Nova Levante, where we had a special encounter: between Nova Levante and Collepietra, we met our Vice-President Sabrina and had a brief chat. With impressive panoramic views, we continued on to Rencio, up the Renon and through the Val Sarentino valley before stopping for a break in Bolzano. After a short break, we continued on to the magnificent heights of San Genesio and Avelengo and then enjoyed the flair of Merano before reaching our destination in Bolzano – an eventful day full of camaraderie and driving pleasure!
